Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
PlaylistLinks runs the pages on playlistlinks.com. Each page shows one music playlist and a button that opens that playlist on Spotify. PlaylistLinks is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotify, Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Questions about this policy or your information: contact@playlistlinks.com.
2. What we collect
When you open one of our pages, or tap its button, we record:
- which page you opened, when, and whether you tapped the button;
- your IP address, and the country and region it points to;
- your browser and device type, browser language, time zone and screen size;
- the page that sent you to us, and the click id that Meta adds to links in its ads (fbclid);
- the identifiers stored in Meta’s cookies on our site (_fbp and _fbc).
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and we do not collect them.
3. Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Our pages use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. They set and read cookies so we can see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring people to our playlists. When you open a page or tap its button, the information in section 2 is sent to Meta Platforms. Meta handles it under its own Privacy Policy.
You can choose which ads Meta shows you in your Facebook ad preferences or in Instagram’s settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
4. Why we use it
- to count visits to our pages and taps on their buttons;
- to measure how well our ads work and to improve them;
- to keep the site working and secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to make decisions about you.
5. Who we share it with
- Meta Platforms, to measure our ads (section 3);
- the companies that host our site and store its data for us (Vercel and Supabase), who may only use it to provide that service;
- authorities, only when the law requires it.
When you tap the button you leave our site and go to Spotify. From then on Spotify’s own Privacy Policy applies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep visit and tap records for as long as we need them to measure our ads. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil or California), you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it to measure our ads. Email contact@playlistlinks.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Where the law requires a legal basis (EU and UK), we use this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring our ads, or on your consent where the law requires consent.
8. Children
Our pages are not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
